The latest model includes a comfortable rubber ring lining the outside of the implant. The face of the plating is surgical steel, but the inner plate is titanium. Cerulean Industries uses titanium so that the subjects body will not reject it.

The eye itself offers the subject zoom functions, Night Vision, Thermal vision, and Target acquisition. The only draw back would be the loss of peripheral vision. Some subjects have complain about the eyes minimal glow, but technicians have deemed that the light emanated from the implant is not enough to warrant any drawbacks.

When implanted, bruising of the surrounding flesh and skin may occur, but will subside in several days.

The lense is made out of a high impact polymer, and has a protective coating to protect against scratches and damage.

All in all, this product is quite useful, and the buyer would get their bits worth out of it. While there are better buys out there, you would be hard pressed to find one as durable as the gen 4.
